SIM residency (December 14, January 15) and Frames exhibition in SIM gallery in January 2015. Reykjavik Iceland.
Just few days before Christmas I saw in news an article about 12 horses who drowned in Bessastaðatjörn lake in the Reykjavík suburb of Álftanes. It is believed that the horses had wandered onto the frozen lake during a blizzard and then fallen through the ice into the deadly cold water. It is unclear what drove the horses onto the ice… I made a video with automated drawing where the image of the occasion is revealed slowly combined sounds of scared horses. Title “Go slow to go faster” is from a horse master. But that applies everything in life.
Another video “Slow is in my blood” is a kind of biographical revelation, personal poem.
